Beyonce scores another victory. The pop star is officially a billionaire.
According to Forbes, with this record, she joins a very small group of celebrities who have crossed the billion-dollar threshold.
Beyonce is the fifth female singer to achieve this status. She will now join husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna, four other singers who have long been on the Forbes list.
Beyonce managed to establish her own business empire in 2010, when she founded Parkwood Entertainment and took control of almost everything related to her career.
The company manages its own activity and produces all music, documentaries, and concerts.
According to her, the reason for making that decision was because she wanted to manage everything herself without being forced to share any of her money with others.
"When I decided to manage myself, it was important not to go to a big management company. I wanted to follow in Madonna's footsteps, be a big force and have my own empire - and show other women that, when you get to this point in your career, you don't have to sign with someone else and share the money or the success. You can do it yourself," she said in a 2013 interview.
Although Beyonce has expanded her empire into various industries, the bulk of her wealth comes from music.

Just remember the Cowboy Carter Tour. Through this tour, she earned over $400 million from ticket sales and about $50 million from products sold during the shows.

Combining revenue from touring, music catalog, and sponsorship deals, Forbes estimates she earned $148 million in 2025.
