A moment broadcast on "Për'Puthen" has sparked strong reactions on the network. On the program, one of the contestants was pranked, claiming that his name had been found in the Epstein files, an issue that has long been at the center of global discussions due to the allegations and shocking data related to the abuse and trafficking of minors.
Although the situation was presented as a "game" within the format, the audience did not receive it well at all. In the comments on Instagram, quite a few followers considered it inappropriate to use such a sensitive topic for a joke. "You don't joke about such topics," writes one commenter. Another adds: "What's there to laugh about when talking about raped and tortured children?"
Others considered the moment insensitive, stressing that the Epstein case is not just a trend, but a serious issue involving real victims and traumatic stories.
So far, there has been no official response from the production regarding the criticism.
The term Epstein files refers to a massive archive of more than 6 million pages of documents, photographs and communications related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, his social network and activities related to the sexual abuse and trafficking of victims, mostly minors.
These documents were collected by the FBI and the US Department of Justice (DOJ) as part of a decades-long investigation that includes surveillance footage, communications, flight logs and forensic evidence related to Epstein and associates.
