Nicole Kidman is breaking free from her wigs. Spotted in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, Kidman opted to show off her naturally curly locks, looking youthful as she attended a Christmas party with her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Urban.
The actress wore a pale yellow silk dress, a simple model, with short lace sleeves, combined with a pair of gold Manolo Blahnik Susa sandals and carried a Chanel beach bag in her hand.
She left her hair naturally curly, a throwback to her signature 1980s look, although back then the color was a fiery red.
For years, Nicole Kidman has often worn wigs in films, TV series and public appearances, hiding her naturally curly hair and appearing mostly with straight or otherwise styled hair. This has made her real look seem almost forgotten, so her recent appearance with natural curls in Australia seems like a clear return to herself.
Kidman has had a pretty busy year, after announcing her split from husband Keith Urban in September. Could this return to her naturally curly roots be a sign of her style as a single woman in 2026?
As we enter the new year, creating resolutions and setting goals for what comes next, we may all be witnessing a new era for the 58-year-old actress.
