While the relationship between Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus seems to be improving, a woman who is not Tish Cyrus is claiming that she is her real mother, but Billy Ray is not accepting this claim at all.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Wednesday, Billy Ray has filed a motion to have Jayme Lee ordered by the court to pay him $7,000 for legal expenses he incurred defending himself against claims that she is Miley Cyrus' biological mother.

Lee’s lawsuit, filed in May, alleged that she had “entered into an agreement with Billy Ray regarding the adoption of the child.” According to her, the terms of the agreement allowed Lee to choose the child’s name and serve as nanny, but the agreement was breached when Billy Ray “subsequently took the child and wrongfully assumed the role of her father without Lee’s consent.”
Lee sought to be legally recognized as Miley Cyrus' mother and asked the court to award Billy Ray damages for fraud and emotional distress. However, Billy Ray hit back with a statement from his lawyer on November 11, saying Lee's claims were completely false.

"Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus-Purcell are Miley Cyrus' biological father and mother, respectively," his lawyer stated.
Billy Ray's lawyer added that "the allegations contained in Lee's lawsuit are absurd and ridiculous to the core. As a public fact, Miley Cyrus, who is now 32, is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus. The singer asked for the case to be dismissed by the court, which happened on December 5.
