Jessica Alba has spoken candidly about her "horribly bad" experience filming a nude scene in the 2005 film "Fantastic Four." The actress has spoken about the "humiliating" process of stripping down for the role of Sue Storm, saying that stripping down completely for the big screen was a very stressful and difficult experience for her. The character, known as Invisible Woman in the Marvel universe, appears naked on a bridge, a scene that Alba was "terrified" to do.

She added that her conservative family upbringing and modest nature made undressing even more difficult:
"I was scared about that scene for weeks. I have a lot of anxiety from those days."

However, Alba stressed that she has positive memories of the role of Sue, a more independent woman than most female characters of the time.
“Often, the women in these stories need to be saved by a man or by the adversary,” she explained.

Calling her character "a woman she had respect for," Alba added:
"She was very caring and kind, but she also didn't let others control her; she said what she thought. She had a great moral compass."

Today, Alba also works behind the camera, utilizing her skills as a producer at her two-year-old company, Lady Metalmark Entertainment. She has indicated that she aims to bring more diversity to the way stories are told on screen, adding:
“When there are a lot of white men in charge, they feel more comfortable telling stories through their own eyes. They don’t know you, they didn’t grow up with a woman like me. Honestly, a lot of them haven’t had strong women in their lives, not just running the household, but providing an income.”
