"Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus," the Portuguese Football Federation has confirmed.
The 35-year-old is said to be "in good condition, without symptoms, but in isolation", not reporting other positive colleagues in the team, before the match of the Portuguese League of Nations, against Sweden, today, October 14.
A statement confirmed:
"After the positive case, the other players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning and the result of all of them was negative. "They are ready for training this afternoon."
Ronaldo had played in both Portugal matches so far.
Earlier this month Napoli failed to show up for a match at Juventus after their local health authority ordered the players to stay home after the Covid-19 positive results of both players.
On the eve of that planned match, two members of the Juventus staff, went into isolation after being positive. Those affected were not footballers or medical staff of the team.
