Kayla Nicole is an American sports journalist and model who was in a long-term relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce from 2017 to 2022, with several breakups and reunions along the way. After the relationship ended, Travis began dating Taylor Swift in 2023, a story that went from a concert fling to one of the most-watched romances of the decade.

Just days after Taylor and Travis posted photos of their romantic proposal in a rose garden and a diamond ring designed by Travis Kelce himself, Kayla Nicole posted a video on Instagram of herself doing an intense workout. She captioned the video:

"The goal? A back that says: stop playing with me."

Although no names were mentioned, the timing of this post and the message speak for themselves. Two days ago, Kayla Nicole also shared a video of actress Tracee Ellis Ross, who spoke about the importance of joy as a feeling that requires commitment and is not as superficial as temporary happiness.

“Joy is a perspective,” Ross said in the video. 

But while her messages try to be uplifting and positive, there's no denying that there's a wave of unspoken emotions running through the air. In an interview on her personal podcast "Pre-Game" in May, Kayla admitted that sometimes, when your ex is dating someone else, it's hard to accept that she can be "nice, beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with that."
