Some stories sometimes come back when you least expect it, at the most inopportune moment. Someone from your past, whom you may have forgotten or are trying to forget, suddenly appears talking about everything that happened between you. The situation becomes even more awkward when these stories happen in public, when (we emphasize) only one party is speaking.
This year's Big Brother has been living proof of these moments. After Mateo and Brikena , it's Anxhelo and Neada's turn. From Anxhelo's game inside the house, few things were left to remember (this was the reason why he was eliminated), but he made sure that something was talked about, even though it didn't belong only to him.

While discussing in the "Big Brother VIP Fan Club" about his experience on the show and the reasons why he was unable to create a relationship during his stay, he remembered that perhaps this inability came because he was still affected by a past romance: a three-year relationship, which ended almost a year ago. Who was she? "It's Neada," he said.

Without realizing it (or perhaps realizing it too well), he shifted the focus from what he (didn't) do inside the house to a story that belonged to the past. To some, his statements may seem like unspoken sentiments: an ex who still talks, still cares, even advises through the screen. But beyond the fancy words, there is something problematic about this whole narrative.

Speaking publicly about an ex-partner, without her desire and reaction, especially when the two of you did not publicly disclose the relationship while you were together, is not honesty, but a violation of a boundary that should have been respected.
Neada has yet to respond to the statements, but Anxhelo made sure we all knew something about their relationship, the feelings and affection he still had for her. He also spoke about it on "Invitation to Five".

The real "game" has begun outside the house and the headlines about Angelo stay far away from Big, all focused on Neada. But unlike other times, the public seems to have had enough of the unnecessary drama, of the stories that are told at the expense of someone else's privacy, at least this is understood from the comments in two of the interviews where he spoke.

Silence sometimes says more than words. Closing a chapter respectfully, even when feelings haven't completely faded, is the best way to show respect for someone you truly loved.
