Fall has officially arrived with all its magic: falling leaves, crisp air, and of course, endless decor ideas. But when you don't have the time or budget to turn your entire house into a Pinterest catalog, it's time for a little creativity and ingenuity.
You don't need a lot of money to turn your home into a warm autumn dream. Here are three ideas that you can implement quickly, simply and with very little expense, but with a lot of style:
1. Leaves, branches and... everything found outside
The secret of magazine designers? The most beautiful fall decor is free.
Grab a pair of garden shears and go for a walk: cut branches with dry leaves, pine needles, bark, small things that you can easily find. They are perfect for a decor that looks thoughtful, but is completely natural.
Place it in a large vase (metal, ceramic, or even a jar with a narrow mouth) and... bam! A new Instagram-worthy corner, right in your home.
2. Place tablecloths on the table as well (not just on the sofa)
Try a more subdued approach to bringing a touch of autumn into your home and focus on the tables.
Replace the summer blankets with a large plaid blanket or a thin blanket. Yes, blankets!
The table will look like it came straight from a Netflix movie starring Reese Witherspoon.
3. Decorate with blankets again! (in a different way)
Choose blankets in autumn colors (dark red, beige, olive green, deep orange) and place them in strategic places: on the couch, at the end of the bed, or in a woven basket.
Besides adding visual warmth, they're super practical for those evenings when Netflix + tea + cuddles are the only formula for happiness.
