As a form of striking domestic policies, especially those directly related to the issue of immigrants, Macedonian citizens recently protested in a no ordinary way.
They placed in front of the Skopje City Hall many shoes that symbolize their families who have left Macedonia to a more developed country.
Though the silent protests took place a few days ago, the photos are now running the network lap.
"We deserve better," was their slogan focusing on the deterioration of the economic situation and the difficult social conditions.
Citizens demanded that the government take measures to improve the economic and social situation and to stop mass migration.
