US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he will not impose tariffs on eight European countries, which are expected to take effect on February 1, due to progress in talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte about Greenland in Davos.

Trump said the two leaders reached preliminary agreements regarding Greenland during what he described as productive discussions and stated that it would benefit the US and all NATO members.
