One of the most common questions in a pandemic situation is: Should I cancel international travel?
In fact, there is no specific answer, as the situation varies from region to region. The virus is still unknown to humans and scientists, so understanding the dangers is something we are working on.
If the trip causes you stress and anxiety as well as the ability to change it, canceling is not a bad idea.
You should check the ticketing site regularly and ensure that the travel environment is equipped with all the changes to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, known by the term coronavirus and causing Covid-19.
You also need to be updated with the latest data. For example, Albania and other countries have canceled sea and air trips to Italy. In a press release, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Beinda Balluku, said that passenger transportation would only be carried out if Italian authorities send empty ferries / aircrafts from Italy to take passengers from Albania.
You should keep in mind that you may end up in the quarantine of the state where you will go, or be denied travel if you exhibit symptoms similar to those of Covid-19.
If travel is unavoidable, you should follow basic hygiene rules:
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or clean them by rubbing them with alcohol-based cleaners;
?Use disinfectants to clean the area where you will be staying;
?Do not touch surfaces that may be contaminated (screens, magazines, gloves)
- Wear protective masks and gloves;
