Shpat Kasapi's brother recounts his last moments: 'He took his son and his wife for a check-up'

Shpat Kasapi was in Italy with his ex-wife, Selvije Jao, and their 4-year-old son, for a medical check-up for their son, when he felt unwell and passed away late on Tuesday, his brother, Albini, said in an interview for Top Channel.

"We received the news at 23:30-00:00 on Tuesday. The news came to us from Italy, from a province of Milan, where Shpati and his wife took the puppy for a check-up two days ago. He was fine, but at dinner he had some stomach problems and chest tightness, he rested a little, and then he had concerns. We believe he suffered a stroke, and died instantly," Albini said.

Further, Shpat Kasapi's brother stated that he had not previously had any serious health concerns:

"There was nothing dangerous, normal things. There was a little heart problem once, a tightness, but nothing serious."

"We don't have a father, our mother recently realized that [Shpati] is no longer with us, we couldn't tell her the bitter news. This is the path of all people, but he left us younger, he left us speechless," Albini concluded amidst the pain.
