Selvija to Shpat Kasapi: "You changed your life in my arms"

Selvije Jao, the mother of Shpat Kasapi's 3-year-old son, posted on Instagram about the singer's untimely passing. She said that Shpati "passed away in her arms."

"You changed your life in my arms, oh life... How happy we were that Roel's documents were finally being done in Italy, so that we could take him to the best speech therapists as soon as possible. Oh, we are tired, how stressed we are... and no one knows," she writes. "How close we have been, how cooperative in our privacy, enjoying Roel's growth and development. You didn't expect to hear him call you 'daddy'... you didn't expect, Shpat. You rushed and left us here alone, without you."

Next, he adds:

"Leave Roel an orphan, O Shpat… At the time when he needed you the most. At the time when he needed your hands more than ever. How can I explain to Roel that dad is no more? You always told me that you would love me until death do us part… but why did you leave life in my arms, why did you break my heart like this, O life? Inshallah we will meet in Paradise… Allah wanted you near him, but I can't wait to wake up from sleep and be here for us."

Shpat Kasapi passed away today, at the age of 40, as a result of a cardiac arrest.
