42% of the capital's residents are not in employment and are not even looking for employment.
The capital is ranked for the first time at the top of the list for the inactive population, leaving behind Lezha, the city that was the first for many years.
Then comes Dibra and Vlora, where again, over 40% of the population is not active in the labor market.
On the other hand, Berati, Korça and Elbasan have the lowest levels of the population not active in the labor market.
In general, the concept of "laziness" is subjective and may depend on various factors such as culture, environment and personal beliefs. People's behavior and work ethic are influenced by many factors. However, in this study, laziness was directly related to not looking for work and not working.
What can be done to make these individuals more productive and motivated?
Some of the more common strategies include:
- Encouraging and rewarding hard work and productivity, such as recognizing and promoting employees who consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Providing access to education and training programs that teach the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement and personal development.
- Improving working conditions, including providing comfortable work spaces and a healthy work-life balance.
- Encouraging physical activity and healthy lifestyles, which can increase energy levels and promote mental well-being.
Overall, creating a positive and supportive environment can motivate individuals to be more productive and less "lazy", leading to a more productive and successful population.
