The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has added the first YouTube video, "Me at the Zoo" by Jawed Karim, to its collection and has recreated the platform's front page.
The 19-second clip, in which Karim talks about elephants at the San Diego Zoo, has been viewed over 382 million times and received more than 18 million likes since its release in 2005.
The new exhibition in the Design 1900-Now gallery and a mini-exhibition in the V&A East Storehouse also explain the digital restoration process and the historical significance of the platform.
