Villanelle, 20 years old, a typical blonde russian. In leisure tempt boys and girls, drink champagne and buy expensive clothes. At work, at work simply kills people in exchange for payment. The title does not need much explanation, we all have eyes on the forehead. Only "invented" should be added.
Villanelle (Jodie Comer) is the serial killer around which the "Killing Eve" series revolves. It is cruel, effective and inhumane. Travels anywhere in the world, at the command of her superiors, to kill targets - usually important people - with unmatched elegance and return to her home in Paris to live calm. Villanelle is tempting, ridiculous as a child, psychopathic and yet again pleasing.
As we were talking about your liking, get in touch with Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), a MI5 employee in London who dedicates life to Villanelle's capture. Both play as a cat with a mouse across Europe, but without success. The only thing that is accomplished successfully is a romantic, inexpressible, ignored relationship between Eve and Villanelle.
What is happening in the first episode is the backwardness of gender roles, especially in cinematography. Eve Polastri is a career woman, while her husband plays the role of anxious spouse at home. If you have not understood so far, Villanelle is bisexual. Is not it a low blow to do the worst of bisexual history? Does this message not reinforce that members of LGTBQ community are bad? Surprise! A good part of the characters are bisexual, not all. This serial is not recommended for homophobes, or is strongly recommended, as you want.
BBC America, the producers after "Killing Eve," tried to shoot at the actual locations of the events. If the script was written in Tuscany, they all set off for Tuscany. "Killing Eve" was filmed in Paris, Toskana, Berlin, Romania and in various cities in England. Consequently, every episode is different, impressive in a different way than the fantastic dialogue by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Our protagonist, Eve, comes under the fantastic interpretation of Sandra Oh. As the first face? Sandra Oh is known for the iconic role of Dr. Christina Yang in "Gray's Anatomy". Though he has somehow been on the shoulder of the character he has played for twelve years, "Killing Eve" shines. Oh took Eve Polastr and made her own.
"Killing Eve" is the best way to spend seven free hours. Villanella will break your heart, will crush you emotionally like nothing else, and you will love it again.
