A spokesman for the Prince and Princess of Wales has released the couple's first statement on the Epstein files. Kate Middleton and Prince William have expressed their support for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. According to the statement, the two are deeply concerned by the revelations made following the release of millions of pages of documents from the Epstein files, their spokesman said.
"I can confirm that the prince and princess are deeply troubled by the ongoing revelations. Their thoughts remain with the victims," ??said the spokesman from Saudi Arabia, where Prince William is at the start of a three-day official visit.

This is the first time William and Kate have directly addressed the scandal, which has brought public attention back to the links between William's uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, and Jeffrey Epstein. His uncle was stripped of all royal titles due to his involvement in the scandal, and media outlets recently reported that he had secretly left his home, Royal Lodge, in the middle of the night.

The decision was reportedly made by King Charles and Prince William after an urgent discussion between them. According to a source for the Daily Mail, the former prince's mental state is not good at all and his stay in the palace would not be well received by the public, as he continued to enjoy royal privileges.

Sources close to the couple said that since the removal of titles, Kate and William have supported every decision that has been made regarding the former prince. Meanwhile, their statement concluded with the words:
"Their Highnesses wish to make clear that their thoughts have been and will always remain with the victims and survivors of all forms of abuse."
