Rob Reiner reportedly said he was terrified his son, Nick, might harm him, in his final words during Conan O'Brien's Christmas party before he and his wife were found murdered on Sunday.

One of the stars present at the director's funeral left others in tears when she revealed the last words Rob reportedly said to her at the party, reports the Daily Mail.
"I'm terrified of [Nick]. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm scared for my son. I think my son might hurt me," an unidentified star recalled Rob saying, according to a source who was at the funeral.

Many in attendance were moved to tears after hearing his words. Also present at the funeral were "The Princess Bride" actor Billy Crystal and his wife Janice, as well as comedians Larry David, Bill Hader and Conan O'Brien.
In the hours before Rob and Michele's deaths, the couple reportedly had an argument with son Nick, who reportedly "exploded" in anger at O'Brien's Christmas party on December 13.

A close family friend said that “they had an argument at Conan’s Christmas party, and Rob had told people that they were worried about Nick and his deteriorating mental state.”
According to some media outlets, Nick was acting strangely with guests during the party. A source told People that "Nick was scaring everyone, acting crazy and kept asking people if they were famous."

Rob and his wife were found stabbed to death in their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on December 14. Rob was 78, Michele was 70. Nick was arrested and has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents.
On December 18, the Los Angeles County Coroner found that the official cause of death was “multiple blunt force trauma.” The manner of death for the parents was classified as homicide.

Nick allegedly shot and killed his parents “around the early hours of the morning” on Sunday, December 14. He reportedly fled the scene, but was arrested later that evening and subsequently charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
