George Clooney hilariously revealed that his wife forbade him from kissing on screen!

George Clooney has said he will no longer kiss actresses on screen after a conversation with his wife, Amal Clooney.

The 64-year-old actor, who has starred in many romantic films such as "Ticket to Paradise" (2022), "Intolerable Cruelty" (2003) and "One Fine Day" (1996), revealed that his decision was influenced by a conversation with his wife when he turned 60: he realized that, although he is still physically active, the years cannot be avoided and there is no point in engaging in kissing scenes that may seem strange for his age.

Clooney said he's following in Paul Newman's footsteps: "I'm not kissing any girls anymore." He also mentioned his previous experiences of struggling to film kissing scenes with Julia Roberts, requiring dozens of takes to get a single scene right. Roberts confirmed that 79 takes were taken for the kiss.

George and Amal, who is 47, have been married since September 2014 and have 8-year-old twin children, Alexander and Ella. George has also revealed that their marriage works largely because of mutual respect and tolerance; for example, if Amal wants to paint a wall red, he doesn't object.

They were introduced by a friend in July 2013, began dating, and George proposed in April 2014, and then got married in September of the same year.

Overall, George says he now focuses on his family and self-image, avoiding romantic scenes in films that are no longer appropriate for his age, and continues to be active in the film industry with other projects where he can act without kissing on screen.
