Johnny Depp and his lawyers believe a recently released census proves that his ex-wife, Amber Hear, was in fact rapist and not raped.
The audio shows Depp and Heard arguing. The debate takes on physical dimensions. Heard admits, according to the transcript, that a physical has started. Afterwards, Depp tells her that she punched him.
"Honey, I didn't shoot you ... I don't know where my hands were exactly, but you're fine. I didn't hurt you, I didn't punch you, I just fell, ?Heard tells her.
According to Depp's lawyer, the census is from 2015. Heard and Depp split a year later. In the recording, Depp tells Heard he will leave her if she continues to rape him.
?I don't want to leave you. I don't want to divorce, I don't want you out of my life. I want peace. If you become violent again, we have to break up, ?Depp says.
Heard responds by saying that he can't be perfect. ?I can't promise you that we won't be physically bothered anymore. I get so nervous all the time that I lose it, ?she continues. "I promise I will do everything to change."
Heard recorded this conversation and presented it to the court as evidence of Depp's violence during the marriage. In fact, the record proved that Heard is the bully and Depp victim.
Heard's lawyer said: "The fact that she is a woman, strangling or turning a word on, does not mean she has not suffered abuse and violence from her partner."
In March 2019, Depp sued Heard for defamation for a total of $ 50 million. According to Depp, Heard's allegations that he raped her were untrue. Depp and his lawyers say the allegations ruined the actor's career and cost him a lot of money. Heard's allegations became public when she sought a protection order in 2016, shortly after the divorce as a result of the violence.
