Argentina hero Emiliano 'Dibu' Martínez had a not-so-graceful reaction when he received the Golden Glove trophy as the best goalkeeper at the 2022 World Cup.
He said that he made the vulgar gesture, after hearing that the crowd of France was cursing him.
"The French were chanting 'boo' to put me down. I couldn't do it out of arrogance," Martinez told La Red radio.
However, it is not the first time that Martínez celebrates receiving an accolade in this way. As can be seen in the picture below, he also made a very similar gesture after receiving the goalkeeper of the tournament award in the wake of Argentina's victory in the Copa América 2021.
