Invited to "The Dalina Show", on Andale Media , Elhaida Dani showed with the greatest elegance that maybe, maybe, we would never have known her!
If you didn't know, Elhaida was a pianist until the age of 16, and it was only when she won Star Academy, the music competition that was broadcast on TV Klan at the time, that her family and father were convinced of her talent as a singer.
The reason why no one, not even she herself, was so convinced that passion in music was much more than just passion, is quite interesting:
"At the same time, a very good singer from Shkodra was emerging, Dorina Garuci, who was my close friend. She was winning 'Gjeniu e Vogël', she almost won 'Ethet' and I was like 'Who am I to come out after Dorina? It's never going to happen.'
"I never allowed myself to sing either, until I was an adult and participated in Star Academy. Imagine if I hadn't done this."
