The singer ended 2025 ranked on Forbes' prestigious list of the richest people, but her father, Mathew Knowles, told Page Six that "she is not motivated by money."

“I've never heard Beyoncé talk about money. She's always said, 'How can I make my fans happy? How can I be the best at what I do?'”
"The money came as a result of success, but it was never her goal. And that's what I love about her," he added.

Cowboy Carter's "The Renaissance World Tour" concerts, along with several of her other businesses, made her the fifth singer to achieve billionaire status.
She joins Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and her husband Jay-Z as part of the "billionaires' club" in music.

Mathew Knowles said he congratulated his daughter when she made the list, but again emphasized that besides the achievement, her goals lie far beyond money.
"That's just not Beyoncé. That's not what she stands for. She's motivated by the desire to be the absolute best, by making her fans happy, and by giving back to the community," he said.
