NATO chief: "If you don't increase defense, you should learn Russian"
The US has pushed NATO allies to significantly increase defense spending, stressing that it expects to see "credible progress" immediately, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker.
On the other hand, Mark Rutte reiterated NATO's recent warnings that Russia could attack its territory within the next few years.
"If we don't act now, the next three years we will be fine, but we have to start now, because otherwise, in three, four or five years, we will be in real danger," he said, adding: "I'm serious about this. Then you will have to go to courses to learn the Russian language, or go to New Zealand."

A march organized in Rome by opposition forces in Italy started from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and ended in front of the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.
Thousands of people, according to organizers, took part in the march, waving Palestinian flags and anti-war banners. Several Israeli flags could also be seen, as a message of peace.
A banner reading "Stop the massacre!" opened the protest, which drew crowds from all over Italy. According to local authorities, at least ten thousand people gathered in the streets of Rome, while thousands more were in the square where the rally ended.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday made it clear that he was not interested in repairing his relationship with his former aide and campaign ally Elon Musk, warning that Musk could face "serious consequences" if he decides to support the opposition.
In an interview with NBC, Trump said he had no intention of reconciling with Musk. When asked if he thought his relationship with the Tesla and SpaceX super-billionaire was over, Trump replied: "I think so, yes."
"I'm very busy with other things," Trump said. "I have no intention of talking to him."
The US president also issued a warning amid rumors that Musk could support Democratic lawmakers and candidates in the 2026 midterm elections, saying he would face serious consequences.
