Orlando Bloom split: Katy Perry breaks down in tears during performance

Katy Perry took the stage again after her breakup with Orlando Bloom and tried to hide her tears, repeatedly thanking her fans for being by her side.

"It means everything to me," she said shortly before starting to sing "Firework" in Adelaide, Australia, on Wednesday, July 2.

In the viral video, the singer appears tearful, clearly hurt by the breakup, but grateful for the love of her fans.

Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom, after having fun at Jeff Bezos' wedding, posted on Instagram Stories about new beginnings and the first step we need to take to overcome difficult situations in life.

The couple were together for more than 7 years and have a daughter, Daisy. The actor is also the father of a son from his marriage to Miranda Kerr.

Rumors of Perry and Bloom's split spread after the singer's trip to space with Jeff Bezos' wife, Lauren Sánchez. 

"He told her he found the whole thing ridiculous," an anonymous source close to the couple told the Daily Mail.

"She was hoping he would be more supportive and, of course, it hurt. Imagine traveling into space and your partner not being excited about it." 

However, this is not the first time the couple has split. Another breakup preceded this one in 2017, but the pair reunited in 2019 and got engaged on Valentine's Day. 

Media reports that during this difficult period, the singer has focused entirely on her 4-year-old daughter, whom she has even taken on her tour.
