Don't laugh, but Gigi Hadid is making these 'outdated' boots look superstar

Fashion always knows how to keep us on our toes. If someone had told us a few months or days ago that one of the style icons would bring back the winter boot trend that we almost left behind in elementary school, we would have laughed. But here we are. Recently, Gigi Hadid was seen wearing boots with leather linings sticking out.

While out and about in New York with a friend, Hadid was spotted wearing a long wool coat, brown wide-leg pants, and leather-lined boots adorned with pearls. She completed her warm outfit with a bandana-print silk scarf, red sunglasses, and a chic shoulder bag.

For those who don't know, booties with a leather lining exposed on the outside have a soft leather lining. This style was very popular in the early 2000s, when celebrities and ordinary people alike would roll up their Ugg boots to show off the leather lining.

While some media outlets have declared classic Ugg boots as the winter boot trend for 2025, the question now is: will the leather-trimmed boots, which Gigi is setting an example for, join the list? Only time will tell.
