Although she has been withdrawn, both in her public appearances, but also in interviews that reveal details about her children or her private life, Melania Trump has finally decided to speak. Through an article published in the "New York Times", the former First Lady of the USA spoke about the difficult period when her son was bullied during his childhood years.
"Barron's childhood experience, from online bullying to real life, is a clear indication of the irreparable damage these assumptions have caused to my son and my family," Trump said.
Melania added that writer Brian O'Donnell had tried to publish writings and videos, with moments when her son's hands moved erratically or did not touch each other.
"Typical signs for an autistic child," wrote the writer at the time.
"I was horrified by such cruelty," Trump added. I felt that someone was attacking my son, just because he didn't like my husband," she emphasized.

The 54-year-old calls her son an "extraordinary boy with a combination of intelligence and charm."
Barron is the only child of Melania and Donald Trump, while the latter has four other children from previous marriages, Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany and Donald Trump Jr.
The son of the presidential couple who was bullied according to Melania because of suspicions of autism is today 18 years old and studies at "New York University's Stern School of Business".
