Britney Spears's social media manager has denied followers' theories that Britney needs help.
The presence of Britney Spears on Instagram and TikTok has made people think she is seeking help amid coded signs on social media.
However, the woman who was hired to help run the singer's social networks said the theories were "incorrect".
In a post on her Instagram on Wednesday, Cassie Petrey, says Spears decides for herself what she posts on social media, including her dancing videos, selfies and floral photos.
"Britney creates the posts and descriptions under the photos herself. She decides for herself everything. Spears is just living her life and trying to have fun on Instagram. "She has a team to help strategize like any great celebrity who does this at this point in her career."
The manager then states:
"Britney is not asking for help or leaving secret messages on her social networks."
The #FreeBritney movement has garnered support from celebrities including Paris Hilton and Rose McGowan, and hundreds of thousands of people signed a petition last summer urging the White House to end its father's custody of Britney.
However, according to the girl who manages the singer's social networks, everything was for nothing.
