Composer Valentin Veizi criticized Elsa Lila, rapper Capital T and Albanian Radio Television for the new version of the song "Pyes lotin" on the night of nostalgia at the "Song Festival", a night dedicated to some of the festival's hits over the years.
Veizi, who composed the song "Pyes lotin" that won first place at the 35th Song Festival, sung by Elsa Lila, is outraged at the way Lila and Capital T changed the song, as well as the fact that no one contacted in advance.
"Today I received many messages and phone calls from friends, lovers and sympathizers of my music indignant about a version of the song "Pyes Lotin" that was sung by Elsa Lila and Capital T on the third night of the 61st RTSH Festival -'s. Since I didn't have the opportunity to follow the festival, I look for it and listen to the song on YouTube, I am impressed (infuriated) by two things: First, I don't know who had the courage to make me "dirty" my song It's good that they don't have the professional ability to "refresh" or otherwise bring a song, but they have neither the education nor the respect to at least contact to get the author's permission." - he writes.
It further adds:
"Second: You (anyone) can re-sing a song, but you have no right to change and denigrate the song without the author's (composer's) permission. Let me bluntly say once again to Lila and Capital, the model of the song you brought is the model of how you can denigrate, disfigure a song as beautiful as the song "Pyes Lotin", so I will ask the Albanian Radio and Television to remove this hideous version from all broadcasts!”
