Gjesti has returned to music with a very personal project. His newest song, "Memories," comes as a touching dedication to his late brother, Eldion Kelmendi, who tragically lost his life in September of last year at the age of just 15.
After a period of silence, Gjesti has chosen to express pain, absence and longing through music. “Memories” is an open emotional narrative, where the artist speaks of memories that never fade, of the emptiness that loss leaves behind and of the effort to continue life, even when everything seems impossible.

"Music has always been with me, both in joy and in pain. 'Memories' is a song that I wrote with tears and that I had a very difficult time recording. I have tried to spare my family, so as not to upset them too much. In all this sadness, I am trying to find happiness in returning to music near you," Gjesti writes on Instagram.
Visually, “Memories” has a dark and reflective atmosphere, in harmony with the theme of the song. With this project, Gjesti brings not just a new song, but a tribute to his brother and a way to share his pain with the audience.
