A tech company in China has come up with a rather strange way to send a kiss to your long-distance partner.
The product is simply a phone attachment - equipped with removable silicone rims.
The kissing device — called Remote Kiss — is a patented invention by the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology in China, according to the Global Times.

Jiang Zhongli, the main inventor of the design, said that he was in a long-distance relationship, and that's what inspired the product.
The device comes with pressure sensors and actuators to mimic a real kiss by replicating the pressure, movement and temperature of actual human lips.

The product can also copy the noise made during a kiss.
It works through an app that users have to download to their phones.
This makes sexting and meeting people online easier.
However, social media users have reacted strongly to the invention.
"I don't understand, I'm shocked," writes someone.
Another said "this is totally wrong".
