Yes, the royal drama continues. And this time, according to sources who spoke to British media, Prince Harry is genuinely worried about his future once his older brother, Prince William, becomes king. The word "banish" (total expulsion) is used in its first sense, and yes, it is as dramatic as it sounds.
Royal biographer Tom Bower told The Mirror:
"Harry is seriously worried that when his father is no longer around, William will banish him from Britain and he will have no status there. He will be persona non grata."
And this isn't just paranoia. According to him, Harry is "desperate" to mend his relationship with King Charles, so he can prove he's still part of the family and regain some respect from the British public. But there's a problem: the palace isn't opening its doors so easily.
Why? Because they suspect that once a meeting with the king happens, Harry will publicly use it to build his image. Simply put, they don't trust him. Now comes the interesting part.
A source close to William and Kate told the Daily Mail:
"It is no coincidence that William and Catherine did not have a representative at the Royal Over-Seas League. They were not asked to send anyone and they are handling the situation very carefully. The fact that this story appeared in the newspapers says it all."
So William and Kate were not invited and did not want to be part of the talks between Harry and King Charles' representatives. And when did the media find out about the "secret" meeting? They suspected that this was not a random leak, but a move by Harry to publicly show that "look, I'm still part of the royal family."
