The Met Gala is the perfect place for celebrities to clash with each other, say a quick greeting and take pictures that eventually go viral online - although sometimes these star-studded mergers can be a little embarrassing, especially the former. the partners confront each other and the respective partners of each. So it was with duets Shawn Mendes-Camila Cabello and Justin Bieber-Hailey Bieber.

Mendes and Cabello, who have been together for two years, "clashed" with the Bieber family during the final preparations for the Met Gala. The entire interaction was captured on video ( 7:23 minutes ) for Vogue.

After getting off the elevator, Camila sees Justin and Hailey and rushes to break the ice.

"Hello, how are you? I'm glad to see you," she says with a smile before embracing the model. Afterwards, the singer hugs and congratulates Justin on his latest MTV Video Music Awards songs, "Stay" with The Kid Laroi and "Ghost".

After Cabello said her greeting, things got a little weird, according to some fans. Mendes then comes to greet Bieberes, and according to the fourth people "were embarrassed", given that Hailey and Shawn have been together, have even gone as a couple to the 2018 Met Gala.

Mendes and Justin, who collaborated on the 2020 song "Monster," exchanged a few sentences, but they all seemed friendly, or at least harmless, between the two. In the end things close with a simple and heartfelt conversation.

The interaction between the four stars lasted about 30 seconds, but that was enough time for fans, or perhaps those who do not like any of them, to find meaning where there might be nothing. Whenever someone is as famous as Biebers, Mendes and Cabello, the public is forced to dig into everything they say and do, and while this conversation may have been a little difficult for those involved, they were all pleasant, showing that there is not and should not be any hostility.

So if you were wondering how embarrassing the interaction was, we can tell you it was not at all. After all, it does not have to be.
