
The 77th Emmy Awards ceremony was held on Sunday, September 14, honoring the most outstanding productions and performances of American television for this year.
The event took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with comedian Nate Bargatze as host, while the nominations were announced earlier on July 15 by actors Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song.

Among the biggest winners of the evening were:
"The Pitt" won for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Dramatic Writing. The lead, Noah Wyle, took home the award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series, earning his first Emmy.

"The Studio" was named Outstanding Comedy Series, and Seth Rogen, one of the show's creators and lead actors, took home the award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. He also shared the awards for Directing and Writing for a Comedy with co-producer Evan Goldberg.
"Adolescence ," the Netflix drama series that follows the story of a teenager accused of murder, was honored with eight Emmy Awards , including:

The 15-year-old star of "Adolescence," Owen Cooper, became the youngest male winner in Emmy history in the Supporting Actor in a Miniseries, Anthology Series or Television Movie category.
