Actors often sacrifice a lot for a role, whether it's losing weight, changing their appearance, or stepping out of their comfort zone.
Amanda Seyfried is the latest example of this dedication, as for her new role in the film "The Testament of Ann Lee" , she accepted two clear conditions from director Mona Fastvold: not to wear any makeup on screen and not to get Botox for at least a year.
"I'm an actress, this is my job and what I want to do. I can give up some things that I like," Seyfried told Etalk .
"We make sacrifices for roles that inspire us and it's worth it. We enjoyed every day of filming. We were happy."

In a previous interview, she revealed that stopping Botox was one of the biggest challenges:
"I had to stop getting Botox for a year, it was a big hardship.
"The first time I tried it, I thought Botox was fantastic because I have expression lines."
The film "The Testament of Ann Lee" premiered on September 1 at the Venice Film Festival, where it was greeted with a 15-minute standing ovation, the longest of this edition, surpassing even the applause for Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" (13 minutes).
According to the festival's official description, the film is an epic narrative inspired by the life of Ann Lee, founder of the Shakers , a radical religious movement that emerged in the late 1700s in America.
