Actress Lily Collins was recently spotted in Venice, where the fifth season of the popular series “Emily in Paris” is being filmed. She appears alongside her colleague, Ashley Park (Mindy) and Italian actor, Eugenio Franceschini, who will play Emily's new boyfriend in this season.
As fans may recall, Emily is now in Italy, where she runs the Agence Grateau office in Rome, and, as always, tries to balance work, fashion, and her not-so-easy personal life.
Filming for the new season began in May 2025 in Rome, then moved to Venice from August 5 to 15, and is expected to wrap up in Paris with the final episodes. Although an official date has not yet been confirmed, the premiere of the fifth season is expected to come at the end of the year, possibly around the Christmas holidays, if all goes according to plan.
In the new season, Emily will find herself torn between Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and the charismatic Italian, Marcello Muratori (Franceschini), with whom her relationship is taking a new direction. Meanwhile, Camille Razat (as Camille) will not be returning this season, as the actress has chosen to pursue other projects.
The new season's cast will be enriched with new names, including Oscar nominee Minnie Driver, who will play the role of Princess Jane, a friend of Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).
The series promises more style, more romance, and new challenges for Emily, who this time must navigate between two cities and two choices.
