Romance is inevitable. She is everywhere: In movies, music, school, work, home.
But despite the cultural prevalence of the classic love story, not everyone experiences it (the same). People who fall on the aromantic spectrum, for example, do not find themselves conforming to the social norms associated with romance.
This includes those who identify as gray-romantics.
Greyromantics experience the feeling of romantic attraction sometimes, or only under certain circumstances. It is a romantic orientation (not a gender or sexual orientation).
Greyromanticism falls on the aromantic spectrum. Someone who identifies as aromantic experiences little or no romantic attraction to other people, regardless of sexual attraction.
