If for Brarend Akçiu acting was not completely unknown, after some short experiences in the theater, for Olta Beqiri it was a thoughtless journey that turned into passion. In an interview for the show "Cafe worry" with Flavio Qarri, the two actors of $ NOB, now known as Kristela and Boyken, shared with the public some details about the expectations for the series and their entire experience in $ NOB.
"The success of the series is being felt. People comment on us and in fact I did not expect much because he is just working on the series without knowing if it would be watched or not. It was a personal pleasure. [The paranoia of failure] is terrible. I had low expectations only as a reflex of mine because the work was [very good]. We worked for hours and now, without fear, we can say that expectations have been positive. "People commented on us, we liked them, there was also criticism," said Olta.
Brarendi added that "in the episodes to come, there is a lot of story change and a lot of shock that will happen and a lot of characters that will evolve."
Acting is a field that both of them have already embraced, although for Olta it started as something she would do once in a lifetime. "It started out as something I would only do once, but now I really like it. "It is a passion," she said.
In addition to acting, they talked about $ NOB and other artistic productions, seen this time by the viewer and appreciated the trend to have Albanian productions. "[We should not just translate them from Netflix]. Very good that Albanian products are happening. I remember that in quarantine, before $ NOBIT, I discussed with my friends and we said that I still remember 'Paris Commune' or 'People and Fate' and I would love to have others, without knowing that I would to be part of something like that. "I am very happy that this is happening," said Brarendi.
In $ NOB, Olta and Brarendi play the role of Kristela and Boyken, a couple who, after several crises, decide to separate peacefully, at least in appearance. From what we have seen, the days after separation are unlikely to be as romantic as Boyken thinks.
$ NOB is broadcast every Sunday at 20:00 on Top Channel; the series will be rebroadcast on Wednesday at 11:30 p.m.
