From 2002 to 2004, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were one of Hollywood's most famous couples and people wanted to know more and more about their much talked about romance.
However, despite this, Ben has recently expressed that at that time the tabloids and the media have said very bad things about his fiancée of that time, Jennifer.
"People were so bad with him - sexists, racists. So many ugly things were written about him once, that if you were to write them today, you would be fired immediately," Affleck said.
Although today their directions are divided, Ben defends and talks about it as would be appropriate for any ex-partner.
"Now, they respect her and raise her to heaven for the work she does, for her background and for all that she has achieved. As they always should have done!"
Affleck and Lopez got engaged in November 2002, but a few days before the altar announced the cancellation of the wedding and the news of the separation.
Today, Jennifer is head over heels in love with Alex Rodriguez and says she is doing better with her engagement now than 18 years ago.
