One of Diego Maradona's lawyers is seeking an investigation into the death of the football legend, claiming it took a long time for the ambulance to arrive.
Matias Morla said it was "criminal idiocy" that it took "more than half an hour" for an ambulance to arrive at Maradona's home in Buenos Aires, where he died of a heart attack on Wednesday.
"This fact cannot be ignored and I will seek an investigation to see it through to the end," Morla wrote on Twitter.
Not long ago, Maradona underwent brain surgery due to a blood clot and left the hospital on November 11th. Thousands of Argentines were present at the presidential palace on Thursday, to honor his figure.
