We have all heard the myth that big feet are equal to a big penis, but new studies actually show that this is more true for the nose.
A study published in Basic and Clinical Andrology measured the extended penile length (SPL) of 126 adults aged 30-60 years along with a range of other data including nose size, height and weight, and found a direct relationship between nose size and penis length. SPL is used as a benchmark because it tends to be a good average indicator of how big the penis will become when it is erect.
In a new short video on his social channels, surgeon and YouTuber, dr. Anthony Youn, breaks down the study findings with the main theory: Men with larger noses had an average length of 5.3 inches (about 13.46 cm), while men with shorter / smaller noses had an average length of 4.1 inches ( 10.4 cm).
The researchers concluded that the size of the nose is likely to be to some extent an indicator of penis size.
"The fact that the size of the nose is related to SPL shows that the length of the penis may not be determined by age, height or body weight, but that it was determined before birth," the study wrote.
