Anthony Albanese re-elected as Australian Prime Minister
Anthony Albanese of the Labor Party has defied the so-called "curse of power" and has been re-elected as Australia's prime minister in a landslide victory.

"Today, the Australian people voted for Australian values: for fairness, ambition and opportunity for all; for the strength to show courage in adversity and kindness to those in need," Albanese said.
Meanwhile, Conservative coalition leader Peter Dutton said he takes "full responsibility" for the party's loss and apologized to his MPs.

Trump joked a few days ago that he "would like to be Pope," so he posted the image on his social network, "Truth Social," which was then shared by the White House.
The photo caused widespread outrage online, with the New York State Catholic Conference declaring: "There is nothing clever or funny about this image."
