Premature New Year's decorations are killing the holiday spirit! -_-

After Halloween, many people decide to start decorating their homes for the New Year holidays. But, there is a problem. It's not the New Year! We still have the November holidays ahead of us.

Can you imagine the damage you are causing? In the living room will be a Christmas tree decorated with lights and sparklers, when the family will all gather together to celebrate... Flag Day.

It is one thing to tolerate shops and bars that start decorating as early as November to attract customers as bait, but WE must not participate in this dance.

The holidays are devouring the last quarter of our year. And you know what? They are making Halloween and the November Holidays less special.

The Perils of Procrastinating New Years
We understand that the way we celebrate the Holidays varies slightly from generation to generation. But how can Christmas and New Years stay special if you leave your tree up for half the year?

Yes, we know. It's your home. You can decorate as and when you want. And the New Year tree is a real hangar to put up and take down.

If we continue to let the holiday spirit seep into other parts of the year where it doesn't belong, it will eventually be like a snake eating its own tail. Starting our celebration three months before December, before Halloween even has a chance, is too early.

If celebrating Christmas becomes normal throughout the year, it will not have the same charm. Celebrating it for three consecutive months will undoubtedly make the holiday not offer the same excitement once December 25th and 31st rolls around.

Do we want to be bored by Holiday songs on the radio just when we should be enjoying them the most? Because if we start celebrating now, it will.

Celebrating Christmas so early completely ignores the amazing and fun holidays in between. Christmas is a fun and joyful time of year, but November is not the time to start celebrating it. The New Year is coming, if I can stop the party for now, it will be much better when it happens in its time.
