If you have indigestion when you travel, you're probably not alone. Many people have difficulty carrying out personal needs when traveling.
This problem is known as "travelling constipation" and is accompanied by characteristic symptoms of constipation.
Some digestive experts think this is due to the change in circadian rhythms – physical, mental and behavioral changes that occur over the course of 24 hours.
Your mode of travel can also affect. Sitting for a long time can have a negative effect as movement is necessary for the digestive process.
Flying can also make you feel bloated due to the drop in atmospheric pressure.
To relieve symptoms:
- do light exercises with your arms and legs and try walking to some destinations
- avoid drinking carbonated liquids
- avoid eating foods that usually cause you to bloat
- stay hydrated
- eat fruits and vegetables, such as pears, apples , kale or broccoli
