Adelina Ismajli talks about the serious incident: 'Criminal gangs have

The shocking story that the singer Adelina Ismajli has faced in the past has returned to the center of attention after several reports in the media according to which her sisters, Zanfina and Ema, will be accompanied by the police to the court, claims which the singer denies them.

It is about the event that happened 15 years ago, where the policeman Triumf Riza, at that time Adelina's boyfriend, was killed by an assassination attempt. Investigations by law enforcement agencies in Kosovo have found Enver Sekiraq guilty of ordering the assassination. Sekiraqa had previously had a relationship with Adelina and allegedly blackmailed her. It has been constantly rumored that the cause of Triumf Riza's murder was his relationship with the singer, which was denied by Sekiraqa as well as Riza's father.

"Dear friends and fans, no police is looking for me or my sisters. We are not criminals and we have no police cases. We are witnesses of a dramatic case that happened 15 years ago and we cooperated with all the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to clarify the case. More than 10 years of testifying in trials every time we have been asked to risk our lives by criminal gangs who have threatened us non-stop and continue [to this day]. Not to mention the image damage and all the negative repercussions it has had on our professional lives. This case is repeated every 3 years now and no final decision is made.” - writes the singer on Instagram.

"We can appear in court to tell them the same words as written in our letters, but we are not interested in a media show related to this case, a show that belongs to the criminal structures in Kosovo or their servants who apparently want to close this case with an epilogue different from the court's decision," she adds.

After the murder, Adelina Ismajli became one of the organizers of the protests to put justice in place, and even dedicated the song "Trimit tim" to Riza, where she mourns his loss.
