A report by Climate Central, which has studied about 135 terrestrial regions, shows what areas are most at risk of extinction in 2050 as a result of rising sea levels.
Updated data show that the entire globe is at risk of extinction due to rising sea levels and floods.

As you can see below, almost all of the Albanian coastline is endangered, although the most problematic areas appear in the Adriatic Sea, starting from the Shkodra area to the vicinity of Vlora, where the Ionian Sea begins.
The Karavasta lagoon is also highly endangered, followed by the Narta area of Vlora.
