At the end of high school, students in the country compile three exams: Mathematics, Albanian Language and Literature and English, Level B1. As for elective exams, there were eight options. According to an instruction from the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, the number of subjects that can be passed the elective exam goes to eleven.

In the list are added History Ballet, Music History and Art History. The rest of the subjects remain unchanged. You can read the complete instruction here .

Also, on the official website of the Ministry of Education, the 2019 State Matura orientation programs have been published for all subjects - with compulsory or optional - with the exception of the above-mentioned three, for which there is not yet a program.
