Britney Spears has officially ended her legal battle with her father Jamie Spears.
"It has been an honor and a privilege to protect Britney Spears. She will be an icon and a brilliant artist who has written her name in the history of music", declared Mathew Rosengart, the singer's lawyer for Page Six.
Although the case according to the media was resolved in 2021, the lawyer emphasizes that now everything is officially closed. "As Spears has requested, she is now completely free and has no legal obligation to appear in court or other proceedings," Rosengart further explains.
We remember that since 2008, Britney was under complete control by her father for legal, financial, professional issues, and even personal decision-making. The singer launched the legal battle to gain freedom supported by fans around the world who created the #freebritney movement.
