Even Valdrin Sahiti has had mornings where he has woken up without a purpose and, like every creator, has gone through what is known as momentary "burnout." Burnout is total emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion, usually as a result of constant stress or excessive workload at work or in life.
In an interview for "The Dalina Show", on Andale Media , Valdrin Sahiti spoke openly about his moments of "weakness".
The famous stylist and designer revealed that at the age of 27, he went through a dark period where he felt he had no motivation in life:
"I experienced burnout at the age of 27. Just like today, but I was much younger to manage myself, with less staff, less knowledge, and no doctor, no idea that I should have a doctor."
"I started feeling unwell that week, mood swings, more fatigue, but one day, it was just a blackout . I woke up in the morning and just refused to leave the house. I had no reason to leave the house. There was no one who could get me out of the house."
But, all of this happened while Valdrini went to work every day and continued creating normally:
"These things happened every day and night. Because I used to sleep at work. In every facility I was in, the office was accompanied by a bed and a bathroom."
As he himself said, even at the end of that darkness, he still managed to find the light again:
"I wasn't into the idea of ??suicide, or taking pills, going out to drink alcohol or do drugs, that wasn't the concept. I just had no motivation to go to work and that's my first meeting with the doctor and the beginning of the discussion with therapists about how to manage life."
And the therapist, according to Valdrin, revealed an interesting but true "diagnosis" for him:
"He told me, 'There's another problem with you because in your subconscious, even when you have sex, you think you're in the middle of a theater where the audience is watching you and at the end you expect them to applaud you or tell you that you didn't do well.' Which is true."
